How does your service work?
Every month the soiled mat is collected and immediately replaced with a clean and functional mat. The soiled mat is returned to our warehouse where it is laundered in an industrial washer and sanitized. It is then dried and stored for the following month’s service.
Does the client purchase the mat and then pay for having it cleaned?
No, the monthly rate includes the cost of the mat and one monthly service.
What is the cost for this service?
The cost would depend on the type of mat, as well as the size of the mat.
A mat with your company’s logo costs less than $5.00 per day!
Can a mat be purchased from Kex Limited?
The mats offered through our service are not available for outright purchase. These mats are designed and engineered to trap dirt so they must be maintained professionally on a scheduled basis to remain effective.

How often are mats serviced / cleaned?
Mats are typically serviced on a monthly basis. However, depending on the client’s foot traffic and environment, more frequent servicing / cleaning may be required. This can be arranged on a fortnightly basis, at an additional cost.
When mats are being serviced, will I be left without a replacement?
No. At the time of the service, a replacement mat is left in place of the soiled one. If you have a logo mat, a clean mat with the identical logo / design will be left in place of the soiled one.
How are Kex mats different from other commercial grade mats?
Kex mats fall into the category of ‘Dust Control Mats’. They are specially engineered to attract, absorb and retain dust, dirt, and moisture. They are designed to be removed and laundered on a regular basis in order to be clean and continue to function effectively.
Can you service our existing mats?
Not all mats are launderable. Notwithstanding that, only mats supplied by our company are serviced.
What sizes are available?
Mats are available in standard sizes: 3’ x 5’, 4’ x 6’, 3’ x 10’.
Other sizes are available on a custom order basis.
What if the mat becomes heavily soiled before the service is due?
If the client requires cleaning before the next scheduled service is due, special arrangements can be made to facilitate a ‘one-off’ or extra cleaning service at an additional cost.
How long does it take to get a mat?
Once the item is in stock, it usually takes between 1 – 3 business days for delivery. If the item is a custom order (custom size or custom logo), it takes approximately 4 – 6 weeks for delivery.
Is there a contract arrangement?
There is no contract arrangement for stock items in stock sizes (3’ x 5’, 3’ x 10’ & 4’ x 6’).
All custom size and custom logo mats are offered on a three (3) year Service Agreement.
