Who manufactures Kex mats?

Kex mats are manufactured by Milliken & Company, a US based multi-billion dollar textile

& chemical conglomerate.  Milliken is the premier & largest textile manufacturer in the world.


Does the client purchase the mat and then pay for having it cleaned?

No, the monthly rate includes the cost of the mat and one monthly service.


When mats are serviced, is a replacement mat left?

Yes, a replacement mat is left in place of the soiled one.  If you have a

logo mat, a replacement mat with the identical logo/design is left.


How are Kex mats different from other commercial grade mats?

Our mats are specially engineered to attract and retain dust, dirt, and

moisture.  They are designed to be removed and laundered regularly in

order to continue to function properly.


Can you service our existing mats?

No, only mats supplied by our company are serviced.


What sizes do mats come in?

We offer all indoor mats in standard sizes: 3’ x 5’, 4’ x 6’, 3’ x 10’.  We also

supply custom sized mats which are available on a custom order basis.


How often are mats serviced / cleaned?

Mats are serviced a minimum of once per month.  However, depending on the client’s foot traffic and environment, more frequent servicing/cleaning will be required.  This can be arranged on a fortnightly or weekly basis, as required.


What if the mat becomes heavily soiled before the service is due?

If the client requires cleaning before the next scheduled service is due, special arrangements can be made to facilitate a ‘one-off’ or extra cleaning service at an additional cost.


How long does it take to get a mat?

Once the items are in stock, it usually takes between 1 - 3 business days for delivery.  If the item

is a custom order, it takes approximately 4 - 6 weeks for delivery.


What happens if the mat gets lost/stolen?

The client is fully responsible for the safety of the mat.  If it is lost or stolen, the client will be held

responsible and will be charged for the cost of the mat.


What happens if the mat gets damaged?

The client is fully responsible for the well-being of the mat.  If the mat gets damaged through a malicious act, the client will be charged for the cost of the mat.  If this happens through natural causes, we will provide you with a new mat.  The decision is determined at discretion of the Company.
